"A physical channel in TDD is a burst, which is transmitted in a particular timeslot within allocated Radio Frames. The allocation can be continuous, i.e. the time slot in every frame is allocated to the physical channel or discontinuous, i.e. the time slot in a subset of all frames is allocated only."

From the statement, this also remind us a optimized RRM method could be used in TDD/TDS.中国通信网-无限分享t;mO:y[/BVdC
Because the physical resources could be allocated with the needs from higher application layer. Thus, we can combine the application and the allocation of radio resources into same together.

For example, if we can know the accurate characteristics of application service required from CN, thus, RRM in RAN could be effeciently work on this. or we could call this method is a cross-layer method.

And this method is different one used in HSDPA,here, Node B just allocate or assign the radio resource by the rough QoS characteristics of UE.

For example, if we need broadcast the information of stock market to end registered user periodically( because the huge amount of packet datas, the SMS is not suitable for), then RRM  could assign this kind of service by the QoS. Thus, the efficience could be gotten.
